Biography


1928 Born in Kyoto.
1945 Graduates from Kyoto Municipal High School of Arts and Crafts.
1949 Graduates from Kyoto Municipal College of Art.
1963 Travels to Europe.
1970 Offered professorship at Musashino Art University.
1972 Travels to Paris and Italia.
1974 Leaves Shinseisaku Association (Association of Artist for New Works). Founds of Soga-kai (Creative Painting Society).
1978 Begins writing a series of cover illustration at a literary magazine "Shincho".
1986 Solo exhibition, Kahitsukan - Kyoto Museum of Contemporary Art
1987 Dies on July 1.
1988 Memorial exhibition (drawing), Kahitsukan - Kyoto Museum of Contemporary Art
1998 Retrospective exhibition, Kahitsukan - Kyoto Museum of Contemporary Art
