Katsu Yoshida was born in Hyogo, Japan in 1939. He studied design at Osaka Art College.
During the 1970’s he started working as a freelance illustrator and created many illustrations for magazine and book covers.
Some of his well-known works are covers of “Sniper” magazine and airline company ANA’s in flight magazine “Kingdom of wings.”
His work always left a strong impact on viewers.

The paintings he drew in private were erotic humans, rice fields, or still objects such as fruits. Within his dynamic paintings, the energy of life can be felt.
Through his paintings his view of wanting to understand. The true meaning of things can be seen.
